The Lord of the Rings film trilogy consists of three live action fantasy epic films: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers (2002) and The Return of the King (2003). The trilogy is based on the three-volume book The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien. While they follow the book's general storyline, the films also feature some additions to and deviations from the source material.

Set in the fictional world of Middle-earth, the three films follow the hobbit Frodo Baggins as he and a Fellowship embark on a quest to destroy the One Ring, and thus ensure the destruction of its maker, the Dark Lord Sauron. The Fellowship becomes divided and Frodo continues the quest together with his loyal companion Sam and the treacherous Gollum. Meanwhile, the wizard Gandalf and Aragorn, heir in exile to the throne of Gondor, unite and rally the Free Peoples of Middle-earth, who are ultimately victorious in the War of the Ring.
The films were directed by Peter Jackson and distributed by New Line Cinema. Considered to be one of the biggest and most ambitious movie projects ever undertaken, with an overall budget of $285 million, the entire project took eight years, with the filming for all three films done simultaneously and entirely in Jackson's native New Zealand. Each film in the trilogy also had Special Extended Editions, released on DVD a year after the theatrical releases. The trilogy was a great financial success, with the films being among the highest-grossing films of all time. The films were critically acclaimed, winning 17 out of 30 Academy Awards nominated in total, and received wide praise for the cast and for the innovative practical and digital special effects.

The Happening is a 2008 American thriller film written, co-produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan that follows a man and his family as they try to escape from an inexplicable natural disaster. The plot revolves around a mysterious neurotoxin that causes any person coming into contact with it to commit suicide.

The protagonist, a science teacher named Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg), attempts to escape from the substance with his wife and friends as hysteria grips the East Coast of the United States. The film does not feature the director's trademark of a twist ending, one of his few films not to have one.
It was advertised as being M. Night Shyamalan's first R-rated film and received mostly negative reviews from film critics.

Story:
Brendan Fraser plays John Crowley, a biotechnology executive, whose two youngest children were afflicted with Pompe disease (Glycogen storage disease type II or acid maltase deficiency). Along with his wife, Aileen (Keri Russell), he raises money for research scientist Robert Stonehill (Harrison Ford) (as a fictional "Dr. Robert Stonehill". Dr. Stonehill is a composite of the many great scientists and researchers that Crowley worked with over the years. Among them Dr. William Canfield and Dr. Yuan-Tsong Chen), forming a company to develop a drug to save his children's lives.

Story:
Derek Thompson (Dwayne Johnson) is a minor league hockey player known for hitting players so hard that he knocks out their teeth—resulting in the nickname, "the tooth fairy." He repeatedly quashes children's aspirations and for doing so is "sentenced" to serve time as a real tooth fairy. At first he is inept at replacing teeth with money, but his case worker (Stephen Merchant) and the head fairy (Julie Andrews) help him become skillful as a tooth fairy. The process makes him realize the value of dreams and goals, even if unrealistic ones.

Legion is a 2010 apocalyptic-thriller film, directed by Scott Stewart. The original screenplay was written by Peter Schink and rewritten by Stewart. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Paul Bettany, Lucas Black, Adrianne Palicki and Dennis Quaid.

Story:
After God loses faith in humanity, the archangel Michael (Paul Bettany), who has become a fallen angel, is the only one standing between mankind and Armageddon. This time using angels to execute the Last Judgment, God's wrath descends on Earth to exterminate the world's population. In a desperate, last-chance gambit, Michael leads a group of strangers in a small New Mexico diner to become unlikely heroes to protect a young waitress (Adrianne Palicki). Ultimately, Michael sacrifices himself to protect Charlie and Jeep from Gabriel, but Gabriel catches up with them and tries to kill the baby, but is stopped by Michael who God has resurrected as an Archangel. Apparently Michael's actions have restored God's faith in humanity and he has given Michael a second chance. Michael defeats Gabriel and heads back to Heaven with him, leaving Jeep to protect Charlie and the baby who will grow up to lead humanity out of the darkness of the Apocalypse that has occurred.
Release:
The film was released on January 22, 2010.
Legion opened in 2,476 theaters and took in an estimated $6,700,000 its opening day, with $2,706 per theater.On its opening weekend it grossed an estimated $18,200,000 with $7,351 per theater. It ranked number two, only behind Avatar. After three days of being released the film has come to gross an estimated $18,200,000 in the United States and Canada.

Titanic is a 1997 American disaster/romantic/drama film directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron about the sinking of the RMS Titanic. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, two members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ill-fated maiden voyage of the ship.

Production of the film began in 1995, when Cameron shot footage of the real wreck of the RMS Titanic. He envisioned the love story as a means to engage the audience with the real-life tragedy. Shooting took place on board the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh – which aided Cameron in filming the real wreck – for the modern scenes, and a reconstruction of the ship was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California. Cameron also used scale models and computer-generated imagery to recreate the sinking. Titanic, at the time, became the most expensive film ever made, costing approximately US$200 million with funding from Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
The film was originally to be released on July 2, 1997, but post-production delays pushed back the film's release to December 19, 1997. The film turned out to be an enormous critical and commercial success, winning eleven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It became the highest-grossing film of all time, with a worldwide total of over $1.8 billion (it is the sixth highest-grossing in North America once adjusted for inflation).
Release:
Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox financed Titanic, and expected James Cameron to complete the film for a release on July 2, 1997. With production delays, Paramount pushed back the release date to December 19, 1997. The film premiered on November 1, 1997, at the Tokyo International Film Festival,where reaction was described as "tepid" by the New York Times.

Story:
A group of terrorists led by General Boris (Aki Avni) kidnap the Russian prime minister's son and daughter and hold them hostage, demanding the release of their comrades within 72 hours. In addition, they have taken over the crippled Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and threaten to detonate it if their demands are not met. It is revealed that among the ranks of the terrorists is a Next-Generation UniSol (NGU) (Andrei Arlovski), who was smuggled in by rogue scientist Dr. Colin (Kerry Shale). U.S. forces bring in troops at the plant, but quickly retreat when the four UniSols revived for this mission are systematically eliminated by the NGU.

Pyaar Impossible (Hindi: प्यार इम्पॉसिबल, English translation: Love Impossible) is a 2010 Bollywood film directed by actor-turned-director Jugal Hansraj under the banner of Yash Raj Films. This romantic comedy film features Uday Chopra, Priyanka Chopra and Dino Morea in leading roles.

Story:
Pyaar Impossible is about a girl Alisha (Priyanka Chopra) and a guy named Abhay (Uday Chopra) who attend the same university, Alisha is the college beauty. Seven years later, still carrying a torch for her, Abhay is a software programmer who has come up with a breakthrough product. When an unscrupulous would-be investor steals the software and prepares to sell it to a Singapore company, Ahbay follows him there. To his surprise, the company's marketing and public relations head is Alisha, now Alisha Merchant after getting married and divorced. Alisha has a 6-year-old daughter, Tania, who is a smart, precocious, uncontrollable terror to her babysitters. Alisha mistakes Abhay, who she doesn't recognize, as the new sitter she was expecting. The assassins include Ariella Martinez(Martha Higareda)- a beauty who uses poison to kill her targets. Lazlo Soot(Tommy Flanagan) - A surviving assassin from the original movie, a master of disguise. How to Change your Friend's Homepage Online

If you want to prank someone, this Internet Explorer homepage hack is great! It changes the start page/homepage of your friend's or anyone you'd like to prank.
System administrators will almost always set the default home page for the browser to the corporate website or intranet when building a machine. This is just a small registry hack that will set the home page for IE6 or IE7. You could probably use this in a logon script to set to home page on all users when they login to the network. How? here it is.

Steps:
1. Open Notepad (start - all programs - accessories - notepad)
2. Copy and paste this:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Start Page"="http://www.johnlawrence.tk/"

3. Change the "http://www.johnlawrence.tk/" to the website you want to be the homepage of your friend. For example, change it to http://www.thisisporn.com/ :)
4. Click the File - Save As (at the top, notepad)
5. Save it as the name you want, but with the .reg extension. For example, Nice File.reg, and also make sure that it's set to All Files. At the dropdown menu, not text document!
6. Click Save (save it to your desktop)
7. Now just send it via Yahoo Messenger or AIM.
And when your friend opens it, his/her homepage will be changed..

Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker portray the film's protagonists, Paul and Meryl Morgan, a recently separated New York power couple on the verge of divorce until they witness the murder of Meryl's client. They are forced to enter into temporary witness protection, given new identities, and relocated to a small Wyoming town. Supporting roles are played by Sam Elliott, Mary Steenburgen, Elisabeth Moss, and Wilford Brimley.

The film premiered in New York on December 14, 2009 and in London the following day. It was released to the United States on December 18 and is scheduled to be released to most of Europe in January 2010. It received mostly negative reviews from critics. Compiled ratings from the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes gave the film an average rating of 3.5 out of 10. Ghost Fighter Opening Theme

I just loved this song after hearing it in the mall last friday. It was the YuYu Hakusho "Ghost Fighter" opening theme song.

The music for the YuYu Hakusho anime adaptation was composed by Yusuke Honma. The series has one opening theme, "Hohoemi no Bakudan" (微笑みの爆弾 Smile Bomb) by Matsuko Mawatari, as well as five closing themes: "Homework ga Owaranai" (ホームワークが終わらない Homework Never Ends), "Sayonara Bye Bye" (さよならbye bye Goodbye Bye Bye) and "Daydream Generation" also by Mawatari; and "Unbalance na Kiss o Shite" (アンバランスなkissをして Kissing the Unbalanced) and "Taiyō ga Mata Kagayaku Toki" (太陽がまた輝くとき The Sun Is Shining Again) by Hiro Takahashi. When Funimation gained rights to the series, English language versions of each of these songs were produced and arranged by musician Carl Finch. The localized themes have vocals sung by Sara White, Stephanie Nadolny and Jerry Jewell.

As detailed in The Art of the Pirates of the Caribbean, the proposed story for the fourth film is for Jack Sparrow and Barbossa to meet up in the newly founded New Orleans, before they sail to find the Fountain of Youth together. Johnny Depp signed on to return in September 2008, and Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio began writing under the guidance of producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The film is set for release on May 20, 2011.Geoffrey Rush has confirmed that he will be returning as Barbossa. Keira Knightley has stated that she does not wish to continue playing Elizabeth Swann Orlando Bloom has also stated that he will not return as Will Turner. The original Mission: Impossible film (1996) was directed by Brian De Palma and stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. The plot follows Hunt's (Tom Cruise) mission to uncover the mole within the CIA who has framed him for the murders of his entire IMF team. Work on the script had begun early with filmmaker Sydney Pollack on board, before De Palma, Steven Zaillian, David Koepp, and Robert Towne were brought in. In fact, the film went into pre-production without a shooting script. De Palma came up with some action sequences, but neither Koepp nor Towne were satisfied with the story that leads up to these events.

Up in the Air is a 2009 American comedy-drama film directed by Jason Reitman and co-written by Reitman and Sheldon Turner. Filming was primarily in St. Louis, Missouri, which substituted for a number of other cities shown in the film. Several scenes were also filmed in Detroit, Michigan, Omaha, Nebraska, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Miami, Florida.
Reitman has heavily promoted Up in the Air with personal appearances during film festivals and other showings, starting with the Telluride Film Festival on September 5, 2009. The Los Angeles premiere was at the Mann Village Theater on Monday, November 30, 2009. Paramount scheduled a limited North American release on December 4, 2009, broadening the release on December 11, 2009 with wide release on the Wednesday before Christmas, December 23, 2009.

Story:

Left 4 Dead 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter game. It is the sequel to Valve Corporation's award-winning Left 4 Dead. The game launched on November 17, 2009, for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in the United States and November 20 in Europe. It builds upon the cooperatively focused gameplay of the original and uses Valve's proprietary Source engine, the same game engine used in Left 4 Dead. The game made its world premiere at E3 2009 with a trailer during the Microsoft press event.

Like the original, Left 4 Dead 2 is set during the aftermath of an apocalyptic pandemic, and focuses on four survivors fighting against hordes of the infected. The survivors must fight their way through levels, interspersed with safe houses that act as checkpoints, with the goal of reaching a rescue vehicle at the campaign's finale. The gameplay is procedurally altered by an artificial intelligence engine dubbed the "Director" that monitors the players' performance and alters the scenario to provide a dynamic challenge for the players as they progress. Several new features have been introduced, such as new types of infected, melee weapons, and a story-arc that connects each of the game's five campaigns together.

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game is 2009 third-person action video game based on James Cameron's film of the same name. The title was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and was released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii and Nintendo DS on December 1, 2009, with a PSP version released later on December 8, 2009.

The video game is set on Pandora, an alien planet moon featured in the motion picture. The game includes the Na'vi, Pandora's indigenous people and other life forms. The player controls a marine named Lance Corporal Able Ryder. Soon into the game the player decides to play the RDA or Na'vi. If the player decides to join the Na'vi, the game becomes a third person adventure, and RDA characters are unplayable. If the player chooses to side with the RDA, the game remains a third person shooter, and Navi characters are unplayable. Both types of characters are equipped with their own particular weapons and abilities, with many other weapons and abilities unlockable as the player gains experience (XP) during the game.

A fifth Fast and Furious film is in development. Paul Walker said, “I’ve spoken with executives at Universal at this point and they’re pretty serious about it. They’re developing it. They know where they want it to take place. They want to do it in Europe.” Vin Diesel has stated that he always planned to make two more films. "I try to think out the story even before we go to shoot the film that's at hand," he said. "So, yes I had been thinking about it. I actually thought of shooting both of the movies back-to-back with Universal with the president of Universal and he was like, 'What? We're just getting our feet back together.'" On April 12, 2009 Universal announced that "Fast and Furious 5" is in the works and both Paul Walker and Vin Diesel have signed on for the sequel or what is being called the "fifthquel.".

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (GI Joe, G I Joe) is a 2009 American live-action film adaptation of the G.I. Joe toy franchise, with particular inspiration on the comic book G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The film is directed by Stephen Sommers, produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and co-written by Stuart Beattie, based on a 1998 screenplay by John Paul Kay. G.I. Joe features an ensemble cast based on the various characters of the franchise. The story follows two American soldiers, Duke and Ripcord, who join The G.I. Joe Team after being attacked by MARS troops.

After leaked drafts of the script were criticized by fans, Larry Hama, writer of the comic, was hired as creative consultant and rewrites were made. Filming took place in Downey, California and Prague's Barrandov Studios, and six different companies handled the visual effects. The film was released from the 5th to the 7th August, 2009 worldwide, following an extensive marketing campaign focused on the Mid-American public. Despite receiving mixed to negative reviews the film opened at the top of the box office and grossed over $301 million worldwide by the end of its run. A sequel is being planned.

Devil May Cry 4 is an action game that was published and developed by Capcom in 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows platforms. The game is the fourth installment to the Devil May Cry series.

In the game, the player controls both Nero and Dante, and fights enemies in close combat using firearms, swords, and other weapons. The characters Lady and Trish from previous games in the series make appearances, along with new characters Nero, Kyrie, Credo, Gloria, and Agnus. The game is set after "Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening" and Devil May Cry, but before Devil May Cry 2.
The game received generally favorable reviews, receiving an average 82% over three consoles from Metacritic (84% on both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and 78% on the PC). GameSpy gave it 4 stars out of 5, stating that "DMC4 succeeds on many levels because it fuses fan service with entertaining gameplay", finding that "visually, DMC4 is a dynamo."

Noli Me Tangere (commonly referred to by its shortened name Noli) is a novel written in Spanish by Filipino writer and national hero José Rizal, first published in 1887 in Berlin, Germany. The English translation was originally titled The Social Cancer, although more recent translations have been published using the original Latin title.

Summary (buod):

May handaan sa bahay ni Don Santiago de los Santos. Maraming handa, Dumalo ang mga kaibigan at kakilala ng Don. Nagsidalo rin pati na ang mga taong hindi inimbita. Masaya ang lahat sa nasabing pagtitipon. Kaya lamang ay nauwi sa pagtatalo ang pagsasaya ng iba, tulad ng nangyari kina Padre Damaso at sa tenyente ng guardia civil. Talo pa nila ang mga walang pinag-aralan. Marami pang dapat na matutuhang kagandahang asal sa isang handaan ang ilan sa mga bisita. Dumating mula sa Europa si Crisostomo Ibarra, anak ng namatay na si Don Rafael. Hinangaan siya at binati ng maraming panauhin sa bahay ni Kapitan Tiyago. Nagulat si Crisostomo Ibarra sa pagtatakwil ni Padre Damaso sa kanyang pag-aalaala nang lapitan siya ni Tenyente Guevarra at purihin niyon ang kanyang ama.

Hinuli ng pulisya si Don Rafael Ibarra. Tumagal ang paglilitis ng kanyang usapin hanggang sa namatay na siya sa loob ng bilangguan. Sa tinuluyang silid ni Crisostomo Ibarra ay iba-ibang pangitain ang nakita niya sa kanyang isipan. Naging abalang lubha ang kanyang pag-iisip sa malupit at malungkot na kapalarang sinapit ng kanyang ama. Hindi na tuloy niya napag-ukulan ng pansin ang mga tanawing makapagpapaligaya sa puso.

Mauuri ang mga taong naglalarawan sa pagkatao ni Kapitan Tiyago. May humahanga at natutuwa sa kanya. May namimintas at naiinis. May mga nasusuklam dahil sa kanyang mga pandaranas at katusuhan sa negosyo. Salapi ang ginagamit niya sa pagliligtas ng kanyang kaluluwa. Marahil ay dahil sa pag-aakalng mabibili niya pati na ang Diyos. Ngunit, ano man ang kapintasan ni Kapitan Tiyago ay sinasabing mahal na mahal niya ang anak na si Maria clara kahit na hindi niya ito kamukha. Inakala ng mga kamag-anak ni Kapitan Tiyago na gawa ng paglilihi sa mga santol ng asawa niyang si Donya Pia ang pagka-mestisa ni Maria Clara. Nasisiyahang pinanood ni Ibarra ang mga nadaraanan niyang mga tao’t bagay-bagay sa mga lansangan at mga pook na binagtas ng kanyang karwahe mula sa Binondo. Itinulad niya ang mga iyon sa mga naobserbahan niya sa kanyang paglalakbay sa mga bansa sa Europa. Nasabi niyang higit na mauunlad ang mga bansa sa ibayong dagat kaysa sa sarili niyang bayan. Kinausap ni Padre Damaso si Kapitan Tiyago tungkol sa isang mahalagang bagay na sila pa lamang ang nakakaalam. Lubhang balisa si Kapitan Tiyago bago at pagkatapos ng pag-uusap nila ni Padre Damaso. Samantala, ay isang matandang pari sa kanilang korporasyon ang dinalaw ni Padre Sibyla. Nasabi ng paring may sakit na kailangan nang magbago ng pamamalakad ang mga prayle sa Pilipinas sapagkat namumulat na ang isipan ng mga tao sa katotohanan. Bukod sa ilog na parang ahas gubat sa gitna ng luntiang bukid ay angkin pa rin ng San diego ang isang gubat na nagtatago ng maraming alamat. Isa na rito ang kwento ukol sa mga ninuno ni Crisostomo Ibarra.

Dadalawa ang talagang makapangyarihan sa bayan ng San Diego. Sila’y ang kura ng kinatawan ng Papa sa Batikano, at ang alperes na kumakatawan sa mga tauhang sa halip na mag-utos ay siyang inuutusan. Ang mga makapangyarihan. Todos los Santos. Dumalaw si Crisostomo Ibarra sa libingan. Hinananap nila ng kasamang katulong ang puntod ng kanyang amang si Don Rafael, ngunit hindi nila iyon natagpuan. Isinalaysay ng sepulturero ang kahilahilakbot na nangyari sa bangkay ng Don dahil sa utos ng “Malaking Kura’. Nilisan ni Ibarra ang libingan na gulong-gulo ang isp. Diniian niya sa balikat ang nakasalubong ang kura sa pag-aakalng iyon ang humamak sa bangkay ng kanyang ama. Kakaiba sa karaniwan ang mga kilos at paniniwala ni Pilosong Tasyo. Kaya may mga nagbabansag sa kanyang pilosopo at may nag-aakala ring siya ay isang baliw. Sa mga ipinahayag niyang kaisipan ay mapupunang maka-siyensya, makatao, at maka-Diyos ang kanyang mga paniniwala sa buhay.

Mga sakristan sa simbahan ng San Diego sina Basilio at Crispin. Gabi na’y nasa kampanaryo pa ang magkapatid. Ayaw silang pauwiin ng sakristan mayor hangga’t hindi nila naililitaw ang salaping ibinibintang sa kanila na ninakaw ni Crispin. Pinag-uusapan ng magkapatid ang nararapat na gawin para makauwi na sila sa kanilang ina nang dumating sa kampanaryo ang sakristan mayor. Kinaladkad niyang pababa si Crispin at pinagsabihan si Basilio na huwag munang umuwi.

Maraming katangian si Sisa… mabuti at masasama. Nakaimpluwensya nang malaki sa asawa ni Sisa ang nasasabing mga katangian. Sa pamamagitan ni Sisa ay nailantad ni Dr. Rizal ang mabubuti at masasamang katangian ng babaing Pilipina. Hindi maitatanggi na ang masasamang kaangkinan ay nagbubunga rin ng masama.

Sa pag-uwi ni Basilio mula sa kumbento ay sinita siya ng guardia civil. Nagtatakbo siya nang takot lalo pa nga’t hindi niya naintindihan ang itinanong ng Kastila. Pinaputukan siya at nadaplisan ng bala sa noo. Binalak niyang iwan ang pagsasakristan at pumasok na lamang bilang pastol kay Crisostomo Ibarra. Ipinagtaka ng mga namamahala sa pista ang hindi pagpapahalik sa kanila ng kamay ng pari. Samantala, napabilang si Sisa sa mga nagdurusang kaluluwa nang malamang wala sa kumbento ang susunduin sana niyang anak na si Crispin. Gayon na lamang ang pagkabahala ni Sisa. Naipayak siya sa kusina ng kumbento kaya’t ipinagtabuyan siya ng kusinero.

Nagtanong si Crisostomo Ibarra sa guro ng paaralan sa San Diego ng tungkol sa problema sa edukasyon. Isinalaysay ng guro ang iba’t ibang problema pa rin ang kahirapan ng mag-aaral at kakulangan sa mga kagamitan sa pagtuturo. Nakabibigat pa sa lahat ng ito ang kawalan ng kalagayan ng guro sa kanyang pagtuturo at ang wikang gamit sa panturo.

May pulong sa tribunal ng San Diego. Mga namumuno sa mga nayon at bayan ang nagmimiting. Adyenda ng miting ang mga gagawing pagdidiriwang para sa pista ng San diego. Naging mainitan ang pagtatalo sa mga mungkahing iniharap, lalo na ang ukol sa balak na iminungkahi ni Don Filipo. Gayunam’y pinagtibay ang mungkahi ng isang karaniwang kasapi. Nang nagkakasundo na ang lahat tungkol sa idaraos na mga pagdiriwang ay saka ipinaalam ng kapitan na hindi maisasagawa ang pinagkasunduan ng dalawang partido sapagkat iba ang gusto ang kura para sa pista. Si Sisa ay hinuli ng dalawang guardia civil dahil sa hindi natagpuan ang dalawa niyang anak na pinagbintangang magnanakaw. Gayon lamang ang hiya ni Sisa nang dalawang oras siyang makulong sa kwartel ng mga sundalo. Pinalaya naman siya ng alperes pagka't pakana lamang daw ng kura ang pagsusuplong kay Sisa. Maraming pangyayaring pinatindi ng pagkakakita ni Sisa sa duguang kapirasong damit ni Basilio – ang siyang nagging dahilan ng kanyang tuluyang pagkabaliw.

Dumating na sa San Diego sina Maria Clara at Tiya Isabel. Halos magkapasabay na pumunta sa bahay ng dalaga sina Ibarra at padre Salvi. Gayunpaman ay nagbatian ang dalawa. Inanyayahan ni Ibarra si Salvi sa piknik na gagawin sa gubat ng mga magkakaibigang binata at dalaga sa San Diego. Tinanggap ng pari ang paanyaya. Nagmamadaling nagpaalam si Ibarra sa kasintahan upang ihanda ang mga kailangan sa piknik. Sa daan ay isang lalaki ang kumausap sa kanya. Natupad ang kahilingan ni Maria Clara kay Ibarra na magpapiknik sa kanilang mga kaibigan. Dalawang bangkang malaki ang pinangayan ni Ibarra. Ang mga ito ang ginamit nilang magkasama sa pangingisda ng kanilang pananghalian at sa pagtawid sa lawa patungo sa gubat na pagpipiknikan. Ang kasayahan ng magkakaibigan ay pinalungkot sandali ng inawit ni Maria Clara. Nabahiran din iyon ng pangamba nang pumasok sa baklad na unang pinangisdaan ang isang buwaya. Sa nasabing sitwasyon ay iniligtas sa kapahamakan ni Ibarra ang pilotong sumasagwan ng bangka ng kanilang sinasakyan. Sa gubat idinaos ang masaganang pananghalian na inihanda ni Crisostomo Ibarra para sa mga panauhing inanyayahan; sina Padre Salvi at ang alperes o tenyente ng guardia civil. Nagturu-turuan sa pananagutan ang dalawang batang sakristan. Namagitan sa kanila si Ibarra nang hindi na lumala pa ang pagkakakitan ng dalawa. Kinaawaan ng mga nagsisipagpiknik si Sisa na nakarating sa gubat sa pagpapalabuy-laboy. Binalak ni Ibarra na ipagamot si Sisa at ipahanap ang dalawang anak niyon. Sa pagtatapos ng piknik ay dumating naman ang sarhento ng mg guardia civil. Hinanap nila ang piloto na Elias ang pangalan dahil sa pagkakagulpi niyon kay Padre Damaso at dahil din sa pagkakahulog ng tenyente sa luba na puno ng putik.

Isang kubo sa tabi ng batis ang tinungo ni Elias, o piloto, pagpanggaling niya sa piknik. Ang kaibigan niyang dalaga, si Salome, ang naninirahang mag-isa sa nasabing kubo. Hindi malubos ang pag-iibigan ng dalawa dahil sa kahirapan nila ni Salome ang kanilang magiging anak, kaya’t hindi niya pinigilan ang dalaga sa balak niyang paglayo upang manirahan sa mga kamag-anak niya sa Mindoro.

Sinadya ni Crisostomo Ibarra ang bahay ni Pilosopong Tasyo upang humingi ng payo tungkol sa balak niyang pagtatayo ng paaralan sa San Diego. Unang ipinayo ni Pilosopong Tasyo ang paglapit ni Ibarra sa kura upang isanguni ang plano. Bukod ditto kailangan paring sumangguni ang binata sa iba pang makapangyarihan sa bayan. Sa simula’y tinutulan ni Ibarra ang gayong mga payo. Ikinatwiran niyang mabuti ang kanyang layunin kaya’t tiyak na magtatagumpay sa tulong ng ilang matitinong tao sa bayan. Ipinaalaala ni Pilosopong Tasyo kay Ibarra na hindi maaaring makibagay sa pari at iba pang makapangyarihan ang binata, ipinayo ni Pilosopong Tasyo na isaisantabi na muna iyon ang balak sa pagpapatayo ng paaralan. Abala ang lahat sa paghahanda para sa pista ng San Diego. Natatangiang mga pagkain ang inihanda sa malalaki at maliliit mang bahay. Ang kasiglahan ay higit na kapansin-pansi sa mga lansangan sinabitan ng mga papel na iba-iba ang kulay at pinaparadahan ng mga banda ng musiko. Bukod sa paghahanda ng mga pagkain ay naghahanda rin paa sa isang malakasang sugalan ang mayayaman. Tila tampok ng pista ang pagsisimula ng paggawa para sa ipinatayong paaralan ni Crisostomo Ibarra. Gayon na lamang ang paghanga ng marami sa binata dahil sa kapakipakinabang na proyekto niyon. Tanging si pilosopong tasyo ang hindi malubos ang kasiyahan gawa ng kung anong pangitain niya. Kagabihan ng bisperas ng pista sa San Diego ang kagandahan ng dalaga. Tumingkad ang gayong kagandahan dahil sa anyang taglay na kabaitan at kagandahang-loob. Pinaunayan ito ng iba’t ibang mga pangyayaring naganap sa kanilang pamamasyal.

Tungol sa sulat ng kabanata 29. Dalawa sa nasabing sulat ang nagbabalita at naglalarawan ng maulay na selebrasyon para sa pista ng San Diego gayong bispeas pa lamang. Makikita ang mga kapintasan ng mga Pilipino sa gayong paglalarawan. Ang isa ang isa pang sulat para kay Ibarra na mula kay Maria Clara. Punong ng pag-aalaala at hinampo ang sulat ng dalaga. Araw ng pista sa San Diego. Masasasihan ang iba-ibang bagay na ginanap bilang selebrasyon sa pista. Mga bagay na sa palagay ni Pilosopong tasyo ang mga pagmamalabis na lalo lamang nagpapahirap sa bayan, ngunit taun-taon ay pilit na ipinagagawa sa mga Pilipino para mapagtakpan ang paghihirap ng bayan. Ni walang naipasok na pagbabago ang isang pinunong Pilipino ng tulad ni Don Filipo, pagkat halimbawa siya ng mga pinunong dinidiktahan ng mga dayuhan.

Nasa loob na nga simbahan ang mga mamamayan ng San Diego…ang mayayaman at mahihirap, ang pinunong bayan at magbubukid. Masikip sa loob ng simbahan kaya’t sarisaring dama sa buhay ng tao ang mapapanood. Saisari rin ang maraamdaman. Si padre Salvia ng nagmisa at naging kapuna-puna ang madalas sa pagkawala niya sa tono ng kanyang binigkas at kinakanta. Sa Maraming pangyayari ay naipamalas ni Dr. Jose Rizal ang kanyang humor sa pagsulat. Punong-puno ng mga tao ang simbahan ng San Diego. Maganda ang simula ng sermon ni Padre Damaso. Hinangaan ng marami ang sermon lalo na ng mga paring naunang nagsermon. Naga-alaala ang mga iyon na mahigitan ni Padre Damaso sa pagsesermon. Ngunit mga “barbaro” tuloy sila sa paningin niyon. Lumalabas na tila nasang ang buong umaga ni Padre Damaso sa pagsesermon. Isang lalaking may maputlang mukha ang nagprisenta sa namamahala ng pagpapatayo ng paaralan. Naprisinta siyang magtayo ng panghugos na gagamitin sa sermonya sa paglalagay ng pulok na bato sa itatayong paaalan sa San Diego. Mukhang namang matibay at matatag ang itinayo niyang paghugos. Ngunit sa hinda malamang dahilan ay bigla iyong nagiba at bumagsak nang si Ibarra na ang nasa huay sa katapat ng panghugos. Kataka-taka in gang lalaking nagtayo nh panghugos ang nabagsakan niyon, athindi si Ibarra.

Dumalaw sa tahanan si Ibarra si Elias. Muli niyang pinaalalahanan ang binatang mag-ingat sa mga kaaway niyon. Sa pag-uusap nina Elias at Ibarra ay pinagtakpan nitong huli. Ang matatayog ng mga aisipang ipinahayag ng kahaap. Naunawaan ni Ibarra na lalong tumindi ang pananalig ni Elias sa Diyos nang mawalan iyon ng tiwala sa tao. Subalit ninais niyang maligtas sa kapahamakan si Ibarra para sa kapakanan ng bayan. Maayos ang simula ng handaan. Sagana sa pagkain. Masigla ang lahat. Pinasuan ng munting pag-aalala ang ilang makapangyarihan sa pagdating ng telegramang mula sa gobernado-heneral. Gayon pa man ay nagpatuloy ang kasiglahan, subalit muling nauntol sa pagdating ni Padre Damaso. Dinugtungan niyon ang mga pagpaparungit na sinimulan sa anyang sermon sa simbahan. Nang banggitin niyang muli ang tunkol sa alaala ni Don Rafael Ibarra ay hindi na nakapagpigil si Cisostomo Ibara. Galit nag alit na hinarap ng binata ang pari.

Kumalat ang balita tungkol sa nangyari kina Ibarra at Padre Damaso sa handaan. Bawat grupo ng mamamayan ng San Diego ay iba ang nagging palagay sa dapat o hinda dapat ginawa ni Ibarra at ng pari. Bawat isa’y humuhula rin sa iba pang mangyayari dahil sa naganap sa dalawa. Ang mahihiap na magbubukid ang higit na nalulungot at nag-aalaala dahil sa maaaring hindi na matuloy ang pagpapatayo ng paaralan. Hindi na rin maaaring makapag-aaaral ang anilang mga anak. Pati sina Kapitan tiyago at Maria Claa ay napasama o naapektuhan sa nangyai kina Padre Damaso at Ibarra. Naeksumulgado si Ibarra. Pinagbilin naman si Kapitan tiyago na putulin ang relasyon niyon kay Ibara at iurong na ang kasal nina Maria Clara at Ibarra. Iniluluha ni Maria Clara ang nanganganib na pag-iibigan nila ng binat. Pinopoblema naman ni Kapitan Tiyago ang malaking halagang utang niya kay Ibarra na kailangang bayaran niya kaagad kung puputulinniya nag elasyon sa sana’y mamanugangin niya.

Dumating ang goberndor-heneral sa San Diego. Maraming humarap sa kanya upang magbigay-galang. Isa na rito si Ibara na sadya niyang bayan at sa mga makabgong ideya nito sa pamamalakad sa bayan. Hinangad niyang matulungan ang binat, ngunit sinabi niyang maaaring hindi niya iyon laging magagawa. Inakit niyang manirahan si Ibarra sa Espanya sapagkat nanghihinayang siya sa binata.

Hindi naipagsaya sa araw ng kapistahan ng San Diego si Donya Consolacion. Pinagbawalan siyang magsimba ng kanyang asawa dsa ikinahihiya siya niyon. Nag-iisa sa kanilang bahay si Donya Consolacion habang nagsasaya ang karamihan sa mga mamamayan, kaya’t si Sisa ang napagbalingan niya at pinaglupitan.

Isa pang pagdidiriwang para sa kapistahan ng San Diego ang ginanap sa plasa. Ito’y ang pagtatahanghal ng stage show. Sarisaring kilos at katangian ng iba-ibang uri ng tao ang maoobserbahan sa dulaan. Maaming tao ang naligalig ngunit iba-iba ang dahilan ng kanilang pagkakabalisa. Kaya’t ang magarbong pagdiriwang ay nagwakas sa kaguluhan. Hindi makatulog si Ibarra dahil sa iba-ibang isipinag gumugulo sa kanya kaya’t inumaga siya sa pagtitimpla ng kung anu-anong kemikal sa kanyang aklatan. Naabala siya sa pagdating ni Elias na nagbabalita sa kanya ng patungo nito sa Batangas at pagkakasait ni Maia Claa. Buong pusong pinasalamatan ni Ibarra si Elias sa pagiging maalalahanin niyon. Kabaligtaran ng gayong kilos ang ipinamalas niya sa ikalawang panauhin dahil sa nahalata niyang pangunguwarta niyon. Malungkot noon sa bahay ni Kapitan Tiyago sapagkat may sakit si Maria Clara. Dahil ditto ay naipatawag si Dr. Tibucio de Espadaña, na asawa ni Donya Victorina, upang siyang tumingin kay may Maria Clara. Naging magasawa ni Don Tibucio at Donya Victorina pagkat natugunan ng bawat isa sa kanila ang magkaiba nilang mahigpit na pangngailangan. Mahuhulaan nang hindi kasiya-siya ang kanilang pagsasama dahil sa nasabing dahilan ng pagkakasal nila sa isa’t isa. Isang bagong tauhan ang nakilala sa kabanatang ito… si Alfonso Linares na inaanak ng bayaw ni Pade Damaso. Naging administrado sana siya ng mga ari-arian ni Donya Victorina ung totoo lamnag ang inamalita niyong pagdadalantao.

Labis na ikinalungkot ni Padre Damaso ang pagkakasakit ni Maria Clara. Nahalata ng mga taong nakapaligid sa kanyang pagkabalisa. Tila nalibang lamang siay nang aunti nang ipakilala sa kanya ni Donya Victorina ang binatang Kastilang si Alfonso Linares. Waring nag-iisip si Pade Damaso nang makilala niya ang inaanak ng kanyang bayaw na ipinagbilin sa kanya sa sulat nito. Samantala, takangtaka si Lucas nang sigawan siya at ipagtabuyan ni Padre Salvi nang ibinalita niya rito ang pagbibigay sa kanya ni Ibara ng limadaang pisong bayad-pinsala. Nabiant si Maria Claa pagkatapos makapangumpisal at iba- iba ang hatol ng mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya inihanda ni Tiya Isaabel si Maria Clara sa isang mabuting pangungumpisal na muli. Siyang-siya si Tiya Isabel sa naitang pagluha ng dalaga pangkat nangangahulugan iyon ng pagsisisi ayon sa kanya.

Isang matandang lalaking dating kumupkop kay Elias ang kasalukuyang nagtatago sa mga abundukan sapagkat siya ay nagging rebelde laban sa pamahalaang Kastila. Natagpuan siya ni Elias sa kanyang pinagtataguan at pinakiusapang magbagong-buhay. Ipinaliwanag ni Elias na may mapakikiusapan siyang isang mayamang binata para maging tagpagsalita nila sa Cortes sa Espanya tungkol sa mga karaingan ng mga mamamayang naaapi sa Pilipinas tulad ng matandang lalai, Tandang Pablo. Pinagduduhan ni Tandang Pablo kung papanigan ang mga naapi ng binata sapagkat iyon ay mayaman, at ang mga mayayaman ay walang hangarin kundi ang lalong magpayaman. Ang sabong ay bahagi na ng kultura ng mga Pilipino. Sa sugal na ito ay makiita ang katangain at kapintasan ng mamamayang Pilipino. Hindi lang paglilibangan ang nagaganap sa sabungan. Makikita rin na isang pook tiong panangyayarihan ng iba-ibang klase ng pandaraya at pakana. Para itong baying kaikitaan ng mga taong nagsasamantala at pinagsamantalahan.

Namasyal sina Donya Victorina at Don Tiburcio sa mga hayag na lansangan ng San Diego. Nakakahawak pa ang donya sa asawa at may pagyayabang na mababakas sa kanyang anyo. Kay, gayon na lamang ang kanyang pagkainis nang hindi siya pansinin ng mga taong nakasalubong, lalo na nga ng omandante. Nagyaya na tuloy siyang umuwi. Nag-away sila ni Donya Consolacion nang mapatapat silang mag-asawa sa bahay ng komandante. Dahil sa nangyayaring pagkampi ng komandante kay Donya Consolacion ay pinagbantaan ni Donya Victorina si Linaes na ibubunyag niya ang lihim ng binat apag hindi niyon hinamon ng duwelo ang komandante. Dumating na muli sa San Diego si Ibarra pagkatapos ng ilang araw na pag-aasikaso sa kanyang kaso. Napatawad siya sa pagkaeskandalo ng mismong arsobispo. Kaagad niyang dinalaw si Maria upang ibailta iyon. Ngunit tila may namagitang hindi pagkakaunawaan sa dalawa dahil sa dinatnan ni Ibarra si Linares sa bahay ni Kapitan Tiyago. Samantala, nagtaka si Ibarra nang Makita niyang nagtatrabaho si elias kay Maestor Juan gayong wala iyon sa talaan ng mga manggagawa.

Dumating si Ibarra sa tipanan nila ni Elias. Habang namamangang patungo sa kabilang bayan ay sinabi ni Elias kay Ibara ang mga karaingan ng mga manghihimagsik. Inakala ni Elias na makatulong si Ibaa sa pagpapaating sa nasbing mga kanilang palagay ni Ibara tungol sa guardia civil at oporasyong ng mga prayle. Matapos na maibulalas ni Elias ang kasaysayan ng kanyang angkan. Nagulumihan si Ibarra sa kanyang nairinig na alupitan ng tao sa kapwa tao. Hiniling ni Elias kay Ibarra na manguna iyon sa pagpapaating ng mga karaingan ng mamamayan sa pamahalaang Kastila sa Espanya upnag magkaroon ng pagbabago sa pamamalakad ng pamahalaang sa Pilipinas. Tumanggi si Ibarra sa pag-aakalang hindi pa napapanahon ang gayong kahilingan. Ipinasya ni Elias na tupain ang ipinangao niya ay Kapitan Pablo.

May mga nagbagong-kilos sa ilan sa mga tauhan sa nobelang ito. Hindi pa matukoy ang dahilan ng ilan din sa mga pagbabagong ito, lalo na ang may kinalaman kina Maria Clara at Padre Salvi. Ngunit kapu-punang hindi nakabubuti para kay Maria Clara ang mahiwagang nangyari sa kanya. Palihim na nagtungo si Lucas sa sementeryo upang katagpuin ang ilan pang lalaki. Pinagbilinan ni Lucas ang mga iyon sa dapat isigaw sa paglusob sa kuwartel at sa kumbento. Sinundan ni Elias si Lucas, at inalam niya ang dahilan ng pagtatapu-tagpo sa sementeryo. Ngunit napilitan siyang iwang mag-isa doon si Lucas nang makaharap na sila sapagkat natalo siya sa suhal sa baraha.

Pinagtatalunan ng mga manang sa San Diego ang bilang ng kandilang may sinding kanilang nakita o kunwari’y nakita nagdaang gabi. Iba-iba rin pakuhulugan ang kanilang ibinigay sa gayong pangyayari. Samantala ay hindi ang mga kaluluwa sa purgatoryo ang paksa ng usapan nina pilosopong Tasyo at Don Filipo, kundi ang pag-unlad na sinasang-ayunan ng mga Heswita at hinahangaan sa Pilipinas, bagama’t tatlong –daan taon na itong luma sa mga bansa sa Europa. Ayon kay padre Salvi ay natuklasan niya sa pamamagitan ng isang babaeng nangumpisal sa kanya ang isang malaking sanwatan laban sa pamahalaan at simbahan. Pinuntahan ng kura ang komandante at isinumbong niya ang kanyang natuklasan. Pinagpayuhan niyang magiangat at mahinahon sa pamaraan ang puno ng guardia civil para madakip at mapagsalita ang mga may-pakana. Naghiwalay ang dalawang makapangyarihan na kapwa umaasa sa tatamuhing pag-asenso sa tungkulin at parangal. Samantala, natuklasan naman ni Elias ang pangalan ng taong siyang ugat ng lahat ng kasawian ng kanyang mga kaanak.

Dumalaw si Ibarra kay Maria Clara kinagabihan. Ngunit papasok pa lamang siya sa bulwagan ay umalingawngaw na ang sunod-sunod ng mga putukan mula sa kabayanan. Takot at kalituhan ang naghari sa mga nasa tahanan ni Kapitan Tiyago, matangi kay Ibarra. Nanaog siyang natitigilan. Sinabi niya sa sacristan mayor na ang nasabing pamisa ay para sa isang malapit nang mamatay.

Dalawa sa mga lumusob sa kwartel ang nahuli nang buhay. Sinikap ng komandante/alperes na imbestigahin sina tarsilio at Andong. Inilabas sa kulungan ng munisipyo ang mga bilanggo upang dalhin sa ulumbuyan. Walang malamang gawin ang kaanak ng bilanggo para makalya ang mga iyon. Tanging kay Ibarra lamng walang nagmalasakit nang nang gayon. Sa halip ay inulan siya ng mga bato’t dumi ng kaanak ng mga bilanggo. Isinisisi sa kanya ang lahat ng nangyaring mga kapahamakan. Nakarating sa Maynila ang nangyaring kaguluhan sa San Diego na marami at iba-iba na ang bersyon. Naging tampulan ng pamumuna ang mga tauhan sa pangyayari. Nangunguna rito sina padre Salvi at Ibarra. Marami ring ipinaaalam na kalagayan sa mamamayang Pilipino noon ang nangyari kay kapitan Tinong. Mahuhulaang inggit sa kapwa at hindi lagging ang tunay na dahilan ang ikinapapahamak ng tao. Kadalsan ding ang inaakalang walang magagawang pinsala ay siyang nakapagpapahamak sa kapwa.

Ipakakasal ni Kapitan Tiyago si Maria Clara kay Liñares, isang kamag-anak ni Padre Damaso, upang makatiyak siya ng tahimik na pamumuhay. Dahil dito’y nagging paksa ng tsimis ang dalga. Pati si Tenyente Guevarra ay naghinala sa kanya. Ipaliwanag ni Maria Clara kay Ibarra ang tunay na mga pangyayari na siyang dahilan ng paglalayo nilang magkasintahan. Nagpatuloy sa pagtakas si Ibarra sa tulong ni Elias. Ipinayo ni Elias sa kasama na mangibang bansa na. Ngunit may ibang balak si Ibarra. Nais niyang makpaghihiganti sa mga taong nagsadlak sa kanya sa bilangguan at sa mga humamak sa kanyang kapitan. Hindi sinag-ayunan ni Elias ang gayong balak sapagkat maraming walang-malay ang maaaring madamay. Ipinasiya ni Ibarra ng ituloy ang nasabing balak na hindi kasama si Elias. Nagpahatid siya sa bundok, pero natuklasan na ang kanyang pagtakas at itinugis sila ng patruya at isa pang bangkang lulan ang mga guardia civil. Tumalon sa lawa si Elias at nagpahabol sa mga tumutugis upang makalayo ang bangkang kinahihigaan ni Ibarra.

Nabasa ni Maria Clara sa pahayagan ang balitang napatay si Ibarra sa tungisan sa lawa. Ipinasya niyang huwag nang pakasal kay Liñares ito’y ipinaalam niya kay Padre Damaso. Minabuti pa ng dalagang magmongha pagkat wala na siyang pag-asang mangunita man lamang si Ibarra. Nadama ni Padre Damaso ang bigat ng pakakasalang nagawa niya sa pakikialam sa pag-iibigan nina Ibarra’t Maria Clara. Ipinagtapat niya sa dalaga ang tunay na dahilan ng gayon niyang panghihimasok.

Bisperas ng Pasko. Napasalamat ang batang si Basilio sa mag-anak na kumupkop sa kanya sa kabundukan. Nagpaalam na rin siya upang umuwi sa kanila. Nagpag-alaman niyang nabaliw ang kanyang ina at nagpagala-gala sa bayan ng San Diego. Hinanap niya iyon at nang magkita sila’y hindi siya kaagad nakilala ni Sisa kaya’t muli iyong tumakas. Nakarating ang kanyang ina sa gubat. Nang noche buenang iyon ay isa pang wari’y takas din ang dapat gawin ni Basilio. Iba-ibang klase ng kasawiang-palad ang naganap sa buhay ng mga tauhan ng nobelang ito. Tanging ang alperes/komandante ng guardia civil sa San diego ang matagumpay na nagbalik sa Espanya at gayon din naman si Padre Salvi na nataas ng tungkulin. Sarisaring balita ang kumalat kay Maria Clara – mga balitang hindi napatunayan pagkat nilukuban ng maykapal na pader ng monasteryo ng Sta. Clara.

my, mine, your, yours, his, her, hers, its, our, ours, their, theirs (possessive case shows possession)

Adjective–is a word used to describe, or modify, a noun or a pronoun. An adjective describes “what kind,” “which one,” “how many,” or “how much.”

Examples:
the brown dog (Which dog?)
the colonial house (What kind of house?)
the two cars (How many cars?)
She is blonde. (What kind of hair?)
He is tall. (What kind of height?)

Verb–is a word that shows action or that indicates a condition or a state of being.

Examples:
I run. Polly talks. The boys eat.
I am sick. She is tired. The people are free.

Note: It is best to use strong action verbs that paint a vivid picture in the readers' mind (e.g. race, waddle, chomp). The verb "to be" (e.g. is, are, was, were...) is not descriptive, so requires the use of adverbs.

Adverb–is a word used to describe, or modify, a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. An adverb describes how, when, where, or to what extent the verb performs.

Examples:
I run fast. (How fast do I run?) The boys are eating now. (When are the boys eating?)
I am very sick. She is extremely tired. The people are finally free. (These examples all show to what extent the verb performs.)

Preposition–is a word used to show a relationship between a noun or a pronoun and some other word in the sentence. Prepositions often show direction, location, or time.

Examples:
in the morning, up in the sky, down south, in a minute, at 2:00 p.m., before bed, by my side, without a doubt, over the hill, after school, through the door, across the street, around the world

Conjunction–is a word that connects other words or groups of words to each other. There are three types of conjunctions: coordinating, subordinating, and correlative.

Examples:
Steve and Sally are going to the store. (coordinating)
Sally is going to the store because she likes Steve. (subordintating)
Sally likes Steve whether he likes her or not. (correlative)

Interjection–is a word used to express emotion that has no grammatical relationship to other words in the sentence. Interjections should be used sparingly and usually only belong in narrative dialogue.

Examples:
Uh oh, I made a mistake!
Oh no, I forgot to call Jane!
Well, what are you going to do?

The Road

The Road is a 2009 film directed by John Hillcoat and written by Joe Penhall. Based on the 2006 novel of the same name by American author Cormac McCarthy, the film stars Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee as a father and his son in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Filming took place in Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Oregon. The film received a limited release in North American cinemas from November 25, 2009 and was released in UK cinemas on January 4, 2010.

Cast:

Viggo Mortensen as the Man. Mortensen explained the interaction of the father with his son thus: "They’re on this difficult journey, and the father is basically learning from the son."^[5]
Kodi Smit-McPhee as the Boy. At the London Film Festival, Mortensen explained that Smit-McPhee was one of four finalists for the part, all of whom then read with him. Smit-McPhee was unanimously chosen, in particular because he seemed youthful, innocent and yet wise beyond his years.

How to Active Windows 7 using a Crack

As what I posted before, How to Download Windows 7. Now in this post I'm gonna show you how to Active Windows 7 to bypass the 30-day trial period and obtain a Genuine copy of Windows 7, either it's Ultimate, Professional or Home.

Steps:
1. Make sure you have Windows 7! Not Vista, not XP! ok?
-You can download Windows 7 for free, here.
2. Make sure you're using the x86 (32-bit) version of Windows.
-not yet tested on x64 (64-bit), but it might work
3. Okay, now it's time for the crack. Download the crack here!
4. Run the crack as administrator (or just open it)
5. Now you'll see something like this:

-You can choose the manufacturer you want (HP, LG, etc. anything you want)
-First click the 'SLIC 2.1 in BIOS' and wait for it (about a minute)
-Second Click the 'Activation Status'
-Next click the 'Install/Remove Loader' and wait for it, then restart your computer
-After restarting, open the Activator again
-This time, Click the Loader status, make sure it's installed
-Restart again and you should have a Genuine Windows 7!
Notes:
1. After clicking the SLIC in BIOS, restart maybe required, if it restarts, just open the program again.
2. If you got any error, just skit that part. For example, I clicked the SLIC in BIOs and I received an error, just go to the next step which is the Activation Status an do on..

How to Speed Up your Start Menu

Are you tired of that slow old look of your start menu? We'll if you're using Windows XP (even vista or 7), here's a trick for you to solve that slow start menu.

Steps:
note: don't want to do these? you can just download and open the file, it does the same thing.
1. Click start, and go to 'Run' and type regedit
2. Now click Ok

After opening the Registry Editor (regedit), expand this:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \ MenuShowDelay

Double click the MenuShowDelay. By default it's 400 (which means 4 seconds). Set it to anything you want, the lower the faster! Set it to 1 to get the most speed.
Now click ok, and close the Registry Editor. Log-off your computer and log-on back, your start menu should be faster!
If you don't want to do the steps above, just download and open this file:
-Click here to download
Just open the file, click and click ok (note: log-off your pc to take effect).

Saw is an American horror franchise that currently consists of six films distributed by Lions Gate Entertainment and various other forms of media. The franchise began with the 2003 short film, which was created by director James Wan and screenwriter Leigh Whannell to potentially pitch it as a feature film—which was successfully done in 2004 with the first feature film being released at the Sundance Film Festival and released theatrically the following October.

The franchise revolves around the fictional character of John Kramer, also called the "Jigsaw Killer", introduced briefly in Saw and in more detail in Saw II, who would rather than kill his victims outright, traps them in situations, which he calls "tests" or "games", to test their will to live via physical or psychological torture. Despite the fact that John was murdered in Saw III, the films continue to focus on the posthumous effects of the Jigsaw Killer and his apprentices while showing more of John's character via flashbacks.

How to Solve a Rubik's Cube

The Rubik's Cube can be very frustrating and may seem next to impossible to restore to its original configuration. However, once you know a few algorithms, it is very easy to solve.

The pieces that compose the Rubik's Cube are called Cubies, and the color stickers on the Cubies are called Facelets. There are three types of Cubies :
- the centers (or center pieces), at the center of each face of the Cube. There are 6 of them, each have 1 Facelet.
- the corners (or corner pieces), at the corners of the Cube. There are 8 of them, and each have 3 Facelets.
- the edges (or edge pieces), between each pair of adjacent corners. There are 12 of them and each have 2 Facelets.
Not all cubes have the same color schemes. The cube used for the illustrations is such that :
- White opposes yellow;
- Blue opposes green;
- Orange opposes red;
- Color scheme is BOY (because the Blue, Orange and Yellow faces are in clockwise order).
This article uses two different views for the Cube :
- The 3D View, showing three sides of the Cube : The front (red), the top (yellow) and the right side (green). In step 4, the algorithm (1.b) is illustrated with a picture showing the left side of the cube (blue), the front (red) and top (yellow).
- The Top View, showing only the top of the cube (yellow). The front side is at the bottom (red).
For the top view, each bar indicates on which side the important facelet is located. On the picture, the yellow facelets of the top back corners are on the top (yellow) side, while the yellow facelets of the top front corners are both located on the front side of the cube.
When a facelet is grey, it means that its color is not important for the situation considered.
The arrows (blue or red), show what the algorithm will do. In the case of the algorithm (3.a) for instance, it will rotate the three corners on themselves as shown. If the yellow facelets are as drawn on the picture, at the end of the algorithm they will be on top.
- The axis of the rotation is the big diagonal of the cube (from one corner to the corner all the way on the other side of the cube).
- Blue arrows are used for clockwise turns (algorithm (3.a)).
- Red arrows are used for counter-clockwise turns (algorithm (3.b), symmetrical to (3.a)).
For the top view, the light blue facelets indicate that an edge is incorrectly oriented. On the picture, the edges on the left and right are both incorrectly oriented. Which means that if the top face is yellow, the yellow facelets for those two edges are not on the top, but on the side.
For the move notations, it is important to always look at the cube from the front side.

How to Do the Coke and Mentos Explosion!

This trick has been popular since the coke diet got popular. This trick, we're gonna use a 1litre or 1.5 (or any) unopened Diet Coke and some (3-6pieces) of Mentos (regular mint flavor).
Be careful! if you accidentally dropped the mentos into the diet coke, it will burst like a volcano!

Steps:
1. Prepare the things you need. (see below)
2. For the Volcanic Eruption (like on top). Just drop the mentos inside the coke.
3. For the funnier bomb version. Drop the mentos into the coke fast and close the cap.
4. Shake it a bit and throw it all the way to the sky.
5. N0w watch how it explode!
You will need:
1. A Diet Coke (can be sprite zero, coke zero, carbonated water, but diet coke is better)
2. Some regular mint mentos (3-6 pieces, flavored mentos not tested)
3. A open space or field where you can to the trick.
Tips:
1. You can also try out experimentations like putting a condom on top.
2. You can prank someone using this, just tape some mentos on the cap of the coke.
3. You can try ordinary cokes, but they might work less.

To do it, follow this steps:
